The Ministry of Education in Jordan has launched a public tender for the construction and maintenance of 15 public schools across the Kingdom of Jordan under a public-private partnership model.
Under the term of the 20-year PPP contract the MoE will pay an availability payment to the concessionaire for the availability of the schools.
This first school PPP project is considered a pilot project in Jordan, as the need for new schools in the country is very important. MOE is advised by IFC and EBRD acting as transaction advisors.
Bid were submitted in June 2023
Our role
Resonance Advisory acted as a financial advisor to the consortium.
Our role included:
- Construction of a financial model
- Assistance in the definition of a financing strategy for the project and for the bid.
- Assistance in the discussion with prospective lenders.
